You Completely Screwed up that deal, didn’t you? (It’s OK, we all didJ)
At some point or another, we’ve all stumbled over our words when negotiating a deal and lost the deal as a result, haven’t we? Or maybe you spoke every word clearly and distinctly but you felt like there was this “invisible wall” between you and the seller that caused you to miss-out on that deal that would have made you what? $5,000? $10,000? $30,000? It’s happened to us all, but fortunately there’s a way to truly have confidence, a genuine connection, and effectiveness when negotiating – with sellers or anyone else!
You’ll NEVER Get the Best Deal If You Don’t Do This:
If you’ve spent much time in the sales arena at all, you’re probably aware that in order to be effective with your prospects, you’ve got to Identify, Agitate, and Solve your prospects emotionally-charged problems that caused him/her to book an appointment with you. There is a LOT wrapped up into each of those steps, but if your mind goes blank when talking to a prospect, just ask yourself these three questions:
1) What is my prospect’s emotionally-charged problem or reason for doing business with me?
2) Does my prospect feel that pain? (If not, cause that to happen!)
3) How can I solve their problem and help them out?

Have you ever talked with someone (even a sales person) and while talking with that individual you felt this emotional “energy” inside you that created an urge and desire that could only be fulfilled by taking a certain course of action? Whether it was the hot girl you were having a “conversation” with or the professional widget sales person, the reason you felt that insatiable emotional desire is because that person captured what was (at the time) your strongest emotion and made you feel to your core that it could ONLY be satisfied by obtaining what that person had to offer. Think back for a second to the last time you felt something like that…remember what it’s like?
